Writing
Since I could read I have been obsessed by language and the worlds of thought created by imagination. I trained as an English teacher and taught English for nine years before the straitened situation of teachers in South Africa wore me down and I joined the happy bunch of coders in the world. Surprisingly the inherent process of creativity was satisfying. In all the dryness of business systems there is a juicy kernel of creativity and I was trapped but happy. I will write extensively about the world of software creation in another article.
But, for now, I invite you to ready some of my other writing. You will find the links on this page.
Great stories have a personality. Consider telling a great story that provides personality. Writing a story with personality for potential clients will assist with making a relationship connection. This shows up in small quirks like word choices or phrases. Write from your point of view, not from someone else's experience.
Great stories are for everyone even when only written for just one person. If you try to write with a wide, general audience in mind, your story will sound fake and lack emotion. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it’s genuine for the one, it’s genuine for the rest.
